Great Technicians Need More Than a Toolbox and an Empty Bay
You can be one of the best technicians in the business, but if the shop doesn't generate enough work, doesn't sell the work you find, or doesn't have systems to keep cars moving through your bay, your earning potential suffers.
We work hard to provide consistent car count, and we back that up with guaranteed hours.
We believe the shop has a responsibility to create an environment where talented technicians can succeed.
That's why State Automotive Repair invests heavily in marketing, equipment, training, processes, and people.
Our goal is simple:
Give great technicians the opportunity to produce great work, earn top pay, and build a great career — without giving up their weekends.
And if you're a top producer, we're not going to put a ceiling on what you can earn.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced technician who knows their way around today's vehicles and takes genuine pride in diagnosing and repairing them correctly.
You'll fit our team well if you:
- Have solid professional automotive repair experience
- Are comfortable diagnosing today's vehicles
- Take pride in accurate, high-quality repairs
- Understand that thorough inspections are part of professional automotive service
- Can work efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Value a clean, organized, professional workplace
- Appreciate systems and processes that help the shop run smoothly
- Are willing to continue learning as vehicles and technology evolve
- Communicate well with Service Advisors and fellow technicians
- Believe in helping the team succeed, not just yourself
- Want a long-term career rather than your next short-term job
We Care About How We Treat People
That applies to our customers and our employees.
We treat every customer who walks through our doors like a guest, delivering a welcoming experience built on trust, respect, and genuine care.
Our technicians are an enormous part of delivering that experience.
We're not interested in shortcuts, unnecessary repairs, or pushing work a vehicle doesn't need.
We want technicians who diagnose accurately, inspect thoroughly, communicate clearly, and take pride in knowing the vehicle was repaired properly when it leaves their bay.

Maybe You're Not Looking for a Job.
That's okay.
Some of the best technicians aren't.
But maybe you're tired of working Saturdays.
Maybe you're tired of inconsistent car count.
Maybe you're tired of wondering whether there will be enough work to make the paycheck you were counting on.
Maybe you'd like guaranteed hours and a flexible schedule without sacrificing your earning potential.
Maybe you're tired of outdated equipment, poor communication, weak Service Advisors, or constantly having to work around problems that shouldn't exist.
Or maybe you're simply wondering whether there's a better opportunity — and better earning potential — out there.
There is.
If you're a talented Automotive Technician who takes pride in your craft and wants top pay, consistent car count, guaranteed hours, a flexible schedule, no weekends, and the opportunity to earn $70,000–$120,000+ with no cap, we'd like to meet you.
Great work. Top pay. Guaranteed hours. Flexible schedule. No weekends. No earning cap.
